Random Acts of Customer Service

I was flying from Phoenix to Akron via Denver last week on Frontier Airlines. The flight was scheduled for 3:30 and after several delays (mechanical problem) it was eventually canceled. Yeah it sucks but at the same time what could I do... No other flight options were available and spending another night in Phoenix and a $100 voucher isn't so bad.

The next morning walking through the terminal to my gate I passed the Frontier employee that handled my new tickets and he greeted me by name and asked how my evening was. Not bad considering that he handled 10's of people the night before but with a name like Jackson I couldn't give him full credit....

The flight to Denver left on time... and my connecting flight was tight. The gates could not been further apart if they had tried (do the airlines EVER use the gates closest to the terminal?) so I had to do a slow jog to get to the gate. The flight was boarding as I arrived and I got my seat. I reached into my bag to get my Kindle to read and realized I left it on my previous flight! A quick frustrated text to a friend to vent and she replied to tell the flight attendant asap. I went to the front of the plane and told the attendant that I left an expensive piece of electronics on my previous flight... she smiled at me and pointed to my Kindle and said "that one?".

WOW... WOW! Someone had found it, looked up the seat and where the connecting flight was and RAN it to my plane. THAT is customer service! Totally unexpected.. a random act of customer service.

Than k you Frontier for giving me an extra night in Phoenix and thank you for your customer service.
